2023 Hyundai Tiburon – The news from South Korea earlier this year revealed that the Stinger is set to cease production by the end of 2022 to be replaced with the fully electric EV6 which is the brand’s top-performing flagship. Although Kia is looking to its Stinger, Hyundai may not be done with rear-wheel drive chassis now. Vision FK appears to be an extensively revised two-door version of the Stinger but with a mid-mounted hydrogen fuel cell.
2023 Hyundai Tiburon Redesign
With battery technology reportedly being developed by electronic hypercar manufacturer Rimac of whom Hyundai is a shareholder and the Vision FK is said to produce up to 500kW, and provide a distance of up to 600km.
If Hyundai offered production versions similar to the Tiburon shown here, it’s likely that smaller power output will be offered with the car, which is marketed as an upscale sports car with enough room for a performance Tiburon N model.
2023 Hyundai Tiburon Verdict
In the event that the fact that the Vision FK Concept car was displayed with an unmasked vinyl wrap, there’s a good possibility that the car is going to be produced.
