2022 Nissan GT-R – Nissan has revealed details about the 2022 changes on JDM GT-R. JDM GT-R, with two exclusive special editions being along with other minor improvements across the collection. The updates are restricted for the Japanese domestic market, but it is yet to be determined if Nissan will make these available to other markets, including the UK.
One of the highlights of the update is the two limited editions of T-spec that each feature unique elements. GT-R Premium is the first one and is built on Japanese Premium specifications models that come with the forged Rays alloy wheels with bronze with an exclusive interior color and trim combination and an adapted suspension tune that takes into consideration the lighter weight of the cast wheels.

GT-R Track Edition engineered by Nismo T-spec (exhale) The GT-R Track Edition, as the name suggests, goes things in a different direction by having a carbon fiber roofing the boot lid and chassis more similar to that of the Nismo GT-R we’re so fond of. Both cars come with a wing made of carbon fiber at the rear as well as carbon-ceramic brakes, and custom-designed badges, and are only available in 100 units each.
The models are part of a series of small adjustments to the 2022 GT-R which include the use of two historical color options that are familiar to all Skyline fans. The famous Midnight Purple, and later Millenium Jade colorways will be back for the ’22 model year, as well as joining the current color palette.

Nissan UK has not confirmed whether or when it will decide to introduce any of these modifications to its local models, however considering the very low volume of vehicles sold in the UK and Europe it’s unlikely any of the specials with T-spec will make it to the UK.
