2022 Mercedes-AMG S63e – It’s been a while since the fuzzy dice were gone, but the most recent Mercedes-AMG S63e test vehicle hasn’t lost a single layer of camouflage. The big hybrid sedan was first seen just a few months ago, wearing a body camouflage wrap. But, later spy photos revealed the car quickly removing any unnecessary covers, and only covering the AMG-specific parts.
The S63e isn’t able to conceal the AMG’s Panamericana grille, lower ride height, or the larger air vents. It’s difficult to conceal the quad exhaust as well as its larger brakes, as well. They’ll be the most prominent improvements to the exterior design over the normal S-Class but the bumper will be given a tweaked design, too. The two front fender caps to accommodate the hybrid plug and gas are not apparent in these spy photos.
2022 Mercedes-AMG S63e Redesign
Details on the powertrain of the sedan similar to the name, remain in the dark. Recent reports suggest Mercedes using a twin-turbocharged engine coupled with an electric engine. The total output is thought to be in excess of 700 horsepower (514 Kilowatts) although there’s speculation of a hotter version that could produce as high as 800 horsepower (588 kW). It’s a good S65 successor and could be dubbed the S73e. An automatic gearbox would channel power to the sedan’s four-wheel-drive system.
2022 Mercedes-AMG S63e Revealed
Mercedes hasn’t yet announced when it’ll reveal the AMG S63e but the car definitely appears good enough to go into production. We’re expecting a launch in the near future, as the car is expected to be ready for 2020. The 2022 calendar year even though the new car production is currently struggling due to the continuing shortage of chips. The AMG S63e is expected to include the finest amenities and features, too, and will include the latest technology and AMG accents all over the inside. The more stylish S-Class is scheduled to be available in the next few months.
