2022 Hyundai Elantra – With the power that the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N comes with and the kind of performance it offers, it’s going to take on that Honda Civic Type R. As the company reduced its offerings to the Veloster however, we have more options in the selection of the Hyundai N Performance division. Although we did sneak a glimpse a couple of months ago now we’re able to see the completed performance of Elantra with all its athletic quality.
2022 Hyundai Elantra Review
From the very beginning, the brand Hyundai Elantra N is a standout. Hyundai Elantra N stands apart by having a more striking and bolder design than its regular counterparts. From the air intakes that are large as well as the aggressive grille red accents, huge exhaust outlets, and a rear diffuser, this hottest Elantra gives a blast of adrenaline for all fans that are around. It’s even better — you can choose to get this model with either an eight-speed dual-clutch or 6-speed manual transmission. Inside, the N model has a similar appearance to the lone remaining Veloster N — (optional) bucket seats with a sporty design and a custom steering wheel, and a variety of track-ready toys within the information system.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is similar to what’s available in the Veloster N and upcoming Kona N. 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque make their way to the front wheels through an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential, making the Elantra N more potent than the Volkswagen GTI and most likely the new Honda Civic Si. The package also includes suspension and chassis tweaks as well as bigger 14.2-inch front brakes, and 245-millimeter tires, both of which are bigger than the Veloster N’s configuration.
2022 Hyundai Elantra Pricing
Hyundai did not reveal pricing at this time, but it’s likely that the 2022 Elantra N model will cost at or near the same price similar to the price of $33,245 for the Veloster hatch.
