2022 Genesis G70 2.0L Turbo – The car may not be sold in the U.S., but that does not mean that only European buyers can take advantage of it. Genesis G70 Shooting Brake as the car is also available in Australia.
Genesis has unveiled its G70 Shooting Brake earlier this year. As it is in other markets this Aussie model will be available exclusively with its starting-up 2.0-liter engine that is turbocharged. It’s a four-cylinder engine. The engine is capable of 250 hp (179 kW) and 250 Lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque, which is sent back to the rear wheel through an eight-speed automated transmission developed by the company in-house. This means that the most powerful 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that is available on the G70 car isn’t available.

It is expected that the G70 Shooting Brake will also only be available in a single trim in Australia. Its price starts at AUD 79,000 (US$56,222) It comes with important features such as Forward Attention Warning and Driver Attention Warning with Leading Vehicle Departure Alert Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist Rear Cross-Traffic Safety Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Rear Smart Cruise Control, blind-spot view monitor, Lane-Keeping Assist and Lane Following.
2022 Genesis G70 2.0L Turbo Feature
The G70 Shooting Brake is equipped with the Luxury Package which comes with Nappa leather and G Matrix-style quilting as well as the 10.25-inch information display, and a 12.3-inch 3-D electronic instrument cluster. Customers can choose an optional Sport Line styling option at no cost. It includes 19-inch alloy sport wheels and a grille with a sporty design, dark chrome highlights on the exterior the headliner,, and pillars in suede and pedals for sports.
