Discussion Starter · #1 · Jun 28, 2016 I drove my 2002 Deville down to a local convenience store, spent five minutes inside, came outside and my key won’t go into the ignition anymore. I looked inside the slot with a light and noticed that the key wont go in because of a brass-colored obstruction of some kind.

It should have Turned off with the Insert of the Newly Programmed Key. If Not, It may need a Computer Reset. You Can try Pulling the ECM Fuse for 5 Min. to Reset the Computer. If this does not work, Try disconnecting the Battery and Reconnecting. Make sure that you have a RadioCode before Disconnecting the Battery Though. Please Rate My Response!
